Ιστορικό σύστασης του Σωματείου
Η προσπάθεια για τη σύσταση του Συνδέσμου Αποφοίτων και Φίλων Λανιτείου ξεκίνησε από μια ομάδα αποφοίτων, τους/τις οποίους/ες ενώνει η μεγάλη τους αγάπη για το Σχολείο. Αγάπη, η οποία πηγάζει από τις γνώσεις, εμπειρίες, όμορφες αναμνήσεις που έχουν αποκομίσει, καθώς και από τις γνήσιες φιλίες που έχουν αναπτύξει ως μαθητές/τριες του Λανιτείου. Κύριος στόχος τους, να ανταποδώσουν στο Λανίτειο όλα όσα τους έχει προσφέρει, μέσω της υλοποίησης των σκοπών του Σωματείου, οι οποίοι συνοψίζονται στα ακόλουθα:

- We reduced our annual natural gas consumption by more than 280,000m3 — which equates to an annual greenhouse gas emission reduction of 530 metric tonnes.
- Luva was named the sole Canadian International Green Gown Award finalist in the Benefitting Society category for its Sustainable Development Innovation Ecosystem Project.
